Uhhh...my assignments...;(

During holiday of this raya, I got many assignments to do. I think...this raya is the best before this but I can't accept that many lecture give more assignments to do during this holiday. Uhhhh....i'm very tension. After raya I must take more tests and quizzes...I'm very shock about life in the university. but now I know my problems and I want to do something to overcome this problems. I don't want to fail anymore.... I want to success like other people.. emmm...SUCCESS-POSITIVE-EXCELLENT....

Celebrating Hari Raya

Fasting
During the Muslim month of Ramadan leading up to Hari Raya, it is mandatory for Muslims to fast from dawn to dusk. All Muslims except the young, old or infirm must fast. Muslims must also abstain from pleasures such as smoking cigarettes and sexual activities during the daylight of the fasting month.Widely, markets, or 'Ramadan bazaars' are held in many areas around the country, where all sorts of food and kuih — traditional Malay delicacies — are sold for breaking fast or buka puasa. Hotels and restaurants have also exploited this situation to offer exorbitant Ramadan buffets.

Preparation
On the Hari Raya, Muslims will recite the takbir, which is held in mosques and surau (smaller place of worship). In some communities, there will be congregations reciting the takbir from house to house.
In big cities and towns, shopping malls and commercial centres will hold big promotions and price discounts for festive shoppers as people purchase clothes and supplies. Decorations are hung in public areas and Hari Raya songs will be played in shopping complexes. The media, such as the television will host various programs in conjunction with the celebrations.

Many people also traditionally return to their hometown generally from big metropolitan cities to rural areas. This is known as balik kampung that is going back to one's home town to celebrate Hari Raya with family and friends. At many times, many of vehicles on the roads nationwide increased the number of car accidents, including deadly ones, occurring during the festive season. Road safety campaigns are arranged to overcome the accident’s problems.

Celebrating on Hari Raya

First day

In the first day, muslims go to mosque or surau to pray “solat sunat hari raya aidilfitri”. I’m also joining this common way. I got taking the chance to meet and greet each other. Once the prayer is done, it is also common for Muslims in Malaysia to visit the grave of their loved ones. I also do it. My family and I go to my grandfather’s grave. During this visit, we clean the grave and perform the recital of the Yasin. We hope he is happy there. We also hope blessed by God and he is spared from the punishment in the grave. Other family members will help in other chores such as decorating and cleaning up the house. The part of happiness one is many child will come from house to house to collect “Duit Raya”. They don’t want to eat any delicacies because they only want “Duit Raya”. So funny. But this group are always getting more “Duit Raya”. They will keep it in their account bank. Moreover, many people come to my house. They are my friends and my parent’s friends. My mum and I only prepared the delicacies altogether with water. Delicacies such as ketupat or rice cake and a meat cuisine called rendang are among the most famous cuisines that are served by my mum.


Second day
In the second day, my daddy got meat from his boss. My mum and I prepared meat soup, “nasi kurma” and “ayam masak merah”. So delicious. My family including my grandmother eating lunch together in this day. Because of raya is not finish yet, my mom prepared more quantity of this cooker. So we are invite more people to come to my house to eat it. Alhamdulillah we give “rezeki” to another people and hope with this practical will get good reply from god.

Third day
At second night of hari raya, my family and I went back to my Tok Wan and Wan house. We are here to visit them. As all we had known,this is also a time to forgive and forget past quarrels. Asking for pardon is done in order of seniority. The younger members of a family approach their elders (parents, grandparents etc) to seek forgiveness, to salam (Muslim equivalent of a handshake), then kiss the hands of the older person as a sign of respect. Besides that, we are visiting another near “saudara”. At the same time, my sister collects more “Duit Raya”. She got a big smile.

Fourth day
For your information, in fourth day I come to Penang. At night my friends and I went to Selangor to visit their “saudara” there. We are 2 days here. I was very happy so much. I can know more people. At the same time, I can improve my social way. I can eat more types of delicacies.
Fifth day
In this day, i’m only think about my assignments. Mathematics is difficult subject. I got more work from this subject. I’m very tension. For your information, I will have more tests and quizzes after this holiday. So I must work hard and cover all topics before I do this tests and quizzes. This raya is very best but I have more to pay attention to my field that I have taken in the USM.

Paper qualification VS experiences

In my opinion, paper qualification is not important now. But the important now is knowledge plus experience. World is heading by knowledge and experience now. High school, college, professional or vocational education, bachelor's or master's degree - you are expected to have at least one diploma of mentioned. The less degrees you have, the less are your chances to get a good job with nice wage. That is simple and understandable, but aren't we overestimating the benefit and value of official education? Maybe we are unfair to those, who have less diplomas, but greater life experience?

In fact, people with experience performing much better than those with a higher degree. This is because experience leads all everything we do. We can’t survive without experience. So the moral of the story is, get both, work experience and qualifications. For some people, they start by getting the paper. But after a time, if their experience doesn't increase, their advancement also stops there. So they need to up their experience factor.

"Heavy" week....

Arghhhh!!!! I'm very tension for the whole this week. Too many test and quiz.."explosion brain" huhuhuhuhuhu...I'm afraid if i get low marks for the test and quiz..The test carry 20% for final exam. While the quiz will carry 10% for final exam...huhhh! very tension..But as a student I must strong to meet this kind of problems. Hmmmm...this is life at university... I must patient and hard working to follow this new life..This my first sem and i don't want to failed any subject...AMIN...So, i wish good luck to every one that have same situation like me. Gogogogo chaiyok!!!!!!

Life in the university

There are so many universities in the world. We can see that everyone have their own dreams to become success in their life. The first step to catch their dreams is continuing study in their favourite field. Nowadays the world is full of competition. Everybody wants to prove himself is the best in each and every field. Now, people have become competent. This is because of their knowledge. Some students during their university educations get knowledge by learning in classrooms while others get it by self study and study in the group. It does not matter how students increase their competency and knowledge.

Being a student is not a single state or condition. Modes of studying and learning are becoming more diverse and there are now more ways than ever before of getting degree or qualification. Being a student is our choice, and how we decide to be a student is up to our self. Furthermore we have derived some interesting ideas that will keep it up our learning and help us to gain more pleasure and satisfaction from the process.

As continue studies, find out what the essence of being a student means. When students lacking in motivation or energy, they must remind themselves of the reasons they have chosen to be a student. Commit to being the best learner can be. Hold on to the creativity and the self-belief that can be developed and strengthened when they are studying in higher education. Derive the best from our learning environments. Learn how to become a student forever by recognizing that our learning, discoveries and development can keep on happening for the rest of your life.

If students go to a university and learn in a classroom setting then they can learn things very easily. This is because in classroom professors are available for guidance. They guide the students in right direction. In classroom study, professors are available for teaching. They have good experience and an idea of teaching their students in the easiest way. Whenever students are unable to understand any topic, they can take the help of their professors. In this way students who have professors can save their time. Classroom studying students can learn things quickly as compared to those who do not prefer it.

Other than that, students who prefer classroom study can get an idea for their job and other aspects of career. For example, many professors who have good contacts and experiences can help their students. These experiences and contacts are very helpful for guidance in right direction. Professors are also very helpful for studying material. In classroom students have opportunity to discuss many ideas like related to career and study. They can discuss it in groups and can know good or bad aspects of these ideas. In other word, classroom study is not only helpful for problems of study but also for future.

In classroom studies, students take the advantages not only in the study and job related areas but also in their daily lives. For example, in a classroom, students become friendly and they are helping each other. These two things are very important in life. If people have these two qualities then they can find success in life very easily in every field. This is because sometimes we come in contact of good people and sometimes not. With these contacts people can know the difficulties of life and get the experience of facing these difficulties. This is not possible in self study. In a classroom, students feel joyful and get into the habit of competition as well. But in self study students are unable to make friends and life experience in its true sense.

Study in group also can help students improve their self. Otherwise they are able to speak and do not become ashamed to ask any questions that they do not know to their friends. The helping friends can get 95% from information that they teach to their friends. This method is required for students in university life. It is because, time is not enough to study by own self even though they are study hard. They must open their eyes, to follow this method. So that, they can success in their life.

My beatiful life

Assalamualaikum...i'm salaimoon from white planet..hikhikhik..i'm a simple girl..i love sport. netball is my favourite sport..did you know that i became a centre when i took place in competition..but never won...huhuhuhuhu..so sad and so strange..how many times my friends and i tried in netball's competition..but the result is remain same...
When i disippointed 2 join the netball's team i'm was involve in roadrun..huhuhuhuhu..in 3 years after join it, i can flied 2 Sabah 2 take part in ROADRUN COMPETITION MSSM 2007. It's the first experience i was in an aeroplane..hehehehe..i'm always smile when i remembered about this beatiful memory..i can't forget this kind of time..
